The Face of Canada- Immigration in Future

  Every year around 340,000 migrants are welcomed to Canada. The country itself has the eighth largest immigrant populations in the world. In the new immigration law Canada , immigrants are distinguished by four categories namely; family, economic (skilled workers, students, or business migration applicants), protected person or refugee and humanitarians. Immigrants do well in creating jobs and succeeding in the labour market. Statistics Canada recently found that immigrant-owned businesses were more likely to create a new product or innovate on an existing process or method. Immigrants who are planning to apply for permanent visa through the “ Provincial Nominee Program ” (PNP) or the federal express entry experience class, tend to fare better in the labour market than other immigration programs.
